Transgendered persons are both with one physical sex and as time progresses, they realize they are really of the opposite sex. Bulling when teens are coming out as transgendered persons is very common. How have these teens confronted their bullying?

Teens who are coming out as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered are often bullied, not only by peers, but parents and sometimes even teachers.  Name-calling, vandalism, and isolating behaviors are but a few ways in which these teens are mistreated by others.   As a teen, it’ cheap bridesmaid dress s very hard to go through personality and sexual development, as it is.  It’s much harder for gay and lesbian teens when others do not approve of your sexuality.  Throw in gender dysphoria into the mix, and things get even more complicated.

What are some thoughts Andi shared in reaction to her prom prom queen ballot experience?

“Many students have started a petition to have me removed from the ballot,”

“They also are outraged and say I am making a mockery of prom , because I am going in an evening gown .”

“She said “Stay in the running. Don’t back down for anything.”

These are many areas of life that people outside of the LGBT community would not even think of. Being able to have an open relationship with someone, having the opportunity to work in your preferred place of work, are all things that many people take for granted if not aware of these unique challenges faced by the GLBT people.
