MANILA, Philippines -- Typhoon Bebeng didn’t stop sister brands Bench, Human and Kashieca from delivering a wild rendezvous between showbiz and fashion at Philippine Fashion Week, featuring  40 celebrity endorsers and over a hundred models wearing the brands’ trademark youthful casualwear.

The show started with a color revolution: the Human Holiday Collection featuring limited-edition pieces from   Summer Wedding Dresses may not be pure white and are often the preferred choice for second time brides;designer Joey Samson, mixing his signature androgynous designs with a splash of bold colors.

Made for the young, trendy, and fashion fluent, the collection was a mishmash of prints, from florals to stripes to checks and plaids. An unusual combination of ‘40s, ‘60s, and ‘70s inspirations, the collection featured long, willowy skirts in vibrant colored chiffon fabrics. The long skirts were paired with delicately embellished shirts in contrasting colors to create color blocking.

Plaid, knee-length, high-waist skirts also swept the runway and were matched with knitted cardigans and loose shirts. In addition to its usual casual wear, the collection showed pieces in navy greens, khakis and military print.
